It takes at least 133 credit hours of coursework to earn a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. The civil engineering coursework consists of technical core totaling 81credit hours and technical electives totaling 16 credit hours. Besides 30 credit hours of general education courses and 6 credit hours of cross-departmental electives are also required.
