introduction

The Graduate School of Ching Yun University was established in August 2004 with the objective of integrating professors, equipment, and resources for advanced research. In this graduate school, students are taught that theory is as important as practice. Programs are offered according to industrial demands so that graduate students can devote their emphasized practical skills, research talent, and industrious spirit into public construction.

UCH Graduate School consists of seven institutes: Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Institute of Electronics Engineering, Institute of Electrical Engineering, Institute of Civil and Disaster Reduction Engineering, Institute of Business Administration, Institute of International Business Management, and Institute of Central Asian Studies. In the future new institutes will be established and doctoral programs relating to current academic studies, industrial demands, and contemporary world trends will be launched.

Additionally, plans to establish Information Engineering Research Institute, Industrial Project and Management Research Institute, and Foreign Language Research Institute have already been sanctioned by the Ministry of Education. To meet the future demands for national development, these institutes will offer Master and Doctoral programs in engineering, information, commerce, and management, in collaboration with existing research centers such as the e-GPS Research Center and TFT-LCD Research Center.
