INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering , Chien Hsin University of Science and Technology, one of the most promising and prospective department in UCH. The department consists of 35 full-time members who are pioneers of research and are enthusiastic for their subjects famous for excellence in the country. There are approximately 1100 students taking undergraduate program and about 40 graduate students studying for their MASTER DEGREE. We provide traditional full-time degrees and continuing professional development short courses open to the public. We own a wide range of state -of- art research equipment and carry out research into a wide variety of subjects related to industries including Solid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics, Vibration, Technology of Automation and Control Systems. Each year, our research staff publishes over 80 papers in academic journals and conference proceedings. About 20 million per year of grants and contracts support our research work. Most of our research is carried out in collaboration with industrial companies and government funded programs.
